Channel 7 saying North are now going hard at Hrovat. Might have have a buyer at pick 32 if he wants out. Since we seem not to be looking at another big trade (after Hurley) would be great to see us be the beneficiary of points trade (as per above) and give Dalrymple a heap of early to mid second rounders. Also keeping salary cap reserve for some big free agent offers next year.

If we are only going to make minimal changes to the list it really stymies the dealing and positioning within the draft.
Hrovat for pick 32 is a loss for us in my opinion unless we can package that and whatever we get for Stevens into something a lot better..

If we can do the draft picks trade in my post before the last, if we can turn our picks and fringe players into a swag of picks in the 20's then overall I'm happy enough if we are not going to target a ready made established player for next year.
Re: The Moving Rolling De-Listing/Trading Thread 2016
Dalrymple likes the consecutive picks too.

Yep. (Stringer/Macrae) In the 20's in the last two years McLean/Webb & Dunkley/Collins. Imagine him pulling off 4 more like that. But I imagine there will be a few clubs looking do draft pick trades with GCS. Hopefully, our pick 18 suits them in their forecasting and their alleged interest in Honeychurch.

Yes he's 24-27 which may mean he only gets 30% game time through the season. I think he has the tools to break into best 22.

Yeah, I'm not to sure myself.
You've got the 22 that played in front of him, then guys like Suckling, Adams, Jong, Wallis, Murphy, Crameri, Campbell, Williams, Cloke/Redpath are all in front of him.
He's back in the pack with the likes of Webb, HC, Dale, R.Smith etc
Re: The Moving Rolling De-Listing/Trading Thread 2016
Hrovat is a good user of the footy. Smart footballer who gets to the right spots. If he wants to stay I would back him to break into the best 22 ahead of Honeychurch and even possibly Hong. He needs a big preseason and a good run with injuries.

I don't necessarily think all 22 from the GF are in front of him. I don't see him as being that far behind players like McLean and Dunkley
Re: The Moving Rolling De-Listing/Trading Thread 2016
Stevo on twitter this morning - disappointing if correct
'.. Cordy a natural born defender, and will return there with return of Crameri and Co. Eases pain of impending Hamling loss'

True. If he hits some form at VFL level he'd probably push a few guys for a spot. What was his VFL form like this season?

I'm sure the dollars are attractive but hell hath no fury like a key defender tasked with holding together the Freo backline in 2017.

A bit to weigh up indeed

Some people on Twitter reckon Hamling & Kersten are very, very good mates and they're targeting them both as potentially decent players but as mates to join together again. I don't want to lose him, but his value has never been higher.

Dogs duo close to nominating clubs
The Age reports that Bulldogs midfielders Koby Stevens and Nathan Hrovat, neither of whom played in the club's premiership side, are edging towards deciding their playing futures.
Stevens, who played 12 games this season, is understood to be favouring Essendon over St Kilda as he seeks a third club.
Hrovat, 22, who played just four AFL games this year, is firming to join either Carlton or North Melbourne.
