Would have had a better chance rolling out Daryl Kerrigan.
It's a very telling out for them in a midfield missing Heppell and Stringer as a pinch hitter. We really need to take advantage of it.
Trotting out Choco Williams as a character referee because Shiel is dating his daughter is just *chef's kiss*.

Burgoyne fined for a sling tackle again. What’s the point anymore.....
Surprise , surprise
Christian needs to be replaced
AFEL double standards. Nothing new, it will never change
What’s the difference ? A trickle of blood ?
Just insanely inconsistent . The whole impact of action is just shambolic
Croz got done for a potentially dangerous tackle. So Burgoyne's must have been potentially safe then. Christian is piss weak
I think the club needs a please explain. Not to point the finger at Burgoyne but in what the difference is from the match review and make it public.
* Two-match ban for Dan McStay’s high bump on Neville Jetta. Careless conduct / high impact
* Elliot Yeo also offered one-match ban for striking Collingwood’s Rupert Wills. Intentional conduct / low impact / high contact
* Essendon's Kyle Langford has also been banned for a game for front-on contact with Adelaide's Shane McAdam.
Absolutely agree with this. McStay merely braced for the hit from Jetta. It was entirely Jetta's action that caused the problem.
You can be sure if it was Lachie Neale instead of McStay it would be no case to answer.
It is just rubbish that there is a different outcome depending on the profile of the player.
