When I saw that live I felt he was trying to impede him by tripping or knocking him off balance and accidently got him in the nether regions so for me that's a fine.
I didn't notice either of these during the game. I've seen the replay of the Rich incident but not Eagles. Kicking Bont - should be a lifetime ban!

Lifetime ban for Eagles.
Yesterday, I saw Shuey pretend to stumble but actually tripped up the Carlton player - has this been assessed? It looked deliberate to me.
I seem to recall he has done that before.
Kicking the Bont in the jatz might be the high water mark of Eagles' career.
He should get the offending boot bronzed and mounted.
Tom Lynch is a real cowardly prick.
Hate seeing players behave like that and never really get a square up. The balance has ripped to far in favour of this chippy, cowardly stuff. when you have players get rubbed out for poor outcomes resulting from acts that are legal, a la Crozier, then this stuff should be punished hard.
The Lynch punch was pathetic, but seeing Collins pacing around the rooms and sitting with his eyes closed was objectively hilarious. Poor guy.
Just wondering what sort of look for young aspiring footballers and their parents is if you let a punch in the guts get unpunished ?
Not good enough AFL
Commentary around it is totally pathetic as well
