If the deal is similar why on earth would he choose St Kilda over us? It's not like they have the big crowd or MCG blockbuster cards to pull out like some other clubs. I can't think of a single reason why he would head to that rabble over our club.

With all the talk of gettable players, I wonder has anyone asked a question in relation to Brody Mihocek.
Still on a rookie contract and signed on for 2020 only on not much money.
Will be 27 in February, so not much time to cash in.
A really good offer would also pressure the Pies on salary cap.
Good idea
Brody He was original recruited as a backman but could not find a spot there . His strong and a good overhead mark. Surprisingly quick as well .
300knfor 2 years +1 year incentive Would be a good outcome
Even though his 27 his footy years in the system is young .
He could start blossoming next year
Ralph from Herald Sun thinks
* we are in front of St Kilda for Keath
* Martin line ball with Carlton but we presented well
* Bruce would be a great foil for Naughton
We believe we can land a triple treat (to paraphrase)
Sorry I can't post the link or article
Interesting, the Keath news changes by the hour. I hope we get him.
Western Bulldogs hope to pull off trade loot as they eye Josh Bruce, Jack Martin and Alex Keath
They are the trio of Dogs targets that could turn Luke Beveridge’s team into a long-term premiership threat.
The Western Bulldogs are daring to believe they could secure all of Josh Bruce, Jack Martin and Alex Keath as they strengthen every line of their team for 2020.
The Dogs will take on GWS in an elimination final on Saturday hoping to relive their heroics of 2016 but behind the scenes they are working hard to make deals.
Gold Coast mid-forward Jack Martin met the Dogs this week where they made an impressive presentation on their future.
He is also considering Carlton’s offer after meeting with the Blues on Tuesday and is now back in Broome pondering those offers while holidaying.
Adelaide intercepter Alex Keath is considering the Dogs and Crows and would perfectly slot into their defence alongside full back Zaine Cordy and fellow marking back Easton Wood.
And with St Kilda’s Josh Bruce being offered a long-term deal to jump from St Kilda, he is the perfect foil for Aaron Naughton as a contested forward who does the grunt work.
The Dogs have the cap space after years of saving, and are seen to be in front of St Kilda in the chase for Keath.
The Martin decision is genuinely lineball but where last year the Dogs missed out on Chad Wingard to the Hawks, they are genuinely seen by prospects as a team on the rise.
With Bailey Dale signed up for three more years, imagine a forward line with Bruce, Naughton and Josh Schache leaping at packs with Martin and Dale at their feet.
Essendon isn’t officially out of the race for Martin but hasn’t put a deal to him yet amid speculation something big is brewing at the Dons, where Joe Daniher hasn’t hosed down trade talk yet.
Also a bit further down after some other non-bulldogs related trade news:
Isaac Smith’s name continues to come up in trade discussions with the Dogs seen to be one of his suitors.
I hope all three of them read this article...
Is anyone not coming to our club :D
Martin is the one I want. If we can get him and one of Bruce or Keath it will be a great coup.
Yep. But with 4 incoming we are going to have to move on two more players, Dickson & Williams don't have contracts, and Lynch, Gowers & Jong contracted but surplus to need (with Roberts & Webb and three already retired). It's fun to think about bringing in four players who make us a much better team, but fitting them in?
Interestingly, although a recent article suggested Williams would stay, if however Williams and Keath was a straight swap... And we got Port's pick 27 in a draft points trade to use on Bruce. Our second rounder (pick 30+) could be used on Isaac Smith (with something coming back). That's the trade currency to buy them from their club. The $1.7M plus salaries of Morris, Dickson & Williams gone is enough to pay for them with money.
Good luck with a best 22:
B: Crozier Trengove Cordy
HB: JJ Keath Suckling
C: I. Smith Macrae Hunter
HF: Martin Schache Lloyd
F: Bruce Naughton Dale
R: English Bontempelli Dunkley
Int From: B. Smith, Wood, Daniel, McLean, Liberatore, Lipinski, Duryea
Emerg: Wallis, Le Young, Richards, West, Hayes, La Young, Cavarra, R. Smith, Gowers, Lynch, Jong, Gardner?,
Kids: Khamis, Sweet, Greene, Porter, Vandermeer, 2019 draftees
That list wins both afl and VFL premierships.
This surely is too good to be true.
