Western Bulldogs
The club’s main concern for round one is midfielder Adam Treloar who has experienced pain in his operated ankle each time he attempts to increase his training volume. He has moved into more skill drills but needs things to go his way to start the season.
Tim English felt a tight adductor late in last week’s match simulation and was restricted to running laps this week. Bailey Smith (soreness) is back in full training. Caleb Daniel (back) and Ryan Gardner (elbow) and Alex Keath (ankle) have only minor issues.
He's a slow healer it's a worry I can see this stretching on, something isn't right. I guess if he does progress well he has a strong fitness base so should be able get up to speed quickly.
There are other players I like more this is true.
I don't dislike him, however a guy with his talent should be pushing for All Australian more often than he is. He gets paid in the elite bracket (not his fault) so I expect elite output.
He's been very good for us so no complaints, just not sure if he's completely bought in to the club. All pure speculation and personal opinion/discussion starter.
