Azabob idea taken onboard. Much better like this for the next few rounds.

Gary Lyon makes light of a cheap shot from Tom Lynch
Gotta say I can’t stand the b/s like papley’s on Mitchell a week ago

Jeez Tigers are good.
Still the best by a mile

A well oiled machine.

I reckon they’re going to win it again
Hopefully lockdown is still on if they do

Such a great kicking side, always moving the ball quickly forwards when they have it and super pressure and structure when they don't. Bolton looks like an impressive kid.

Very impressed with Bolton. Weren’t we rumoured to be into him last trade period ?

Brisbane look like a deer in the headlights against this mob

Theyve got no run at all.

Re: Game Day Festival of Footy (Round 10-12)
Nothing more certain than Brisbane kicking 15.3 next week.
-
Re: Game Day Festival of Footy (Round 10-12)
Makes our loss against Richmond look a little more respectable, I reckon they were better against us.
-
Re: Game Day Festival of Footy (Round 10-12)
Nice statistical symmetry.
Tigers 12-8-80
Lions 4-16-40
Same scoring shots, double the score. Both 20 scoring shots and score a multiple of 4. Yes I'm going covid crazy.

They were shit tonnes better than anything seen this year against us last week.
It will be interesting to see if Brisbane bounces next week or whether they falter again providing we bring the pressure.

Pressure is key against the lions. Only way to stop them scoring

Agree, only Eagles against Pies maybe better.

Re: Game Day Festival of Footy (Round 10-12)
I full on don't understand the Tigers. Their bottom 6 every week is worse on paper than just about anyone else's but they have found away to maximise every player's talent.

Its an absolute credit to them that they are extracting great footy from Baker, Aarts, Higgins etc

Got to be impressed by the way they've bounced back from some very patchy early form, the loss of key players and overcome their forward woes that saw them barely scoring above 30 points versus Sydney a few weeks back.
They're a lock for the flag, IMO.

How do you feel about Vandermeer who has done something similar most weeks he's played?

The saints are doing all this well at the momemnt too. They haven't had the injuries the tigers have had but they're a legitimate chance for the flag. They're getting a lot out of some little known players.

Tend to agree , sadly .
The only shining light might be that the residents presiding East Melbourne won’t need to board their homes

Unpopular opinion currently and I think it’s wonderful he’s back
Majak Daw isn’t up to it

No he's horrible how long will they persist with him?

Adelaide are pretty bad. Just no fight or spirit it seems.

Adelaide are currently offering up teams a platter of confidence and percentage boosting to any team that can firmly remind them they are no good. Oh man are they no good.
When we get them we need to hit them hard and early. Batter their feeble, slow midfield. I'm talking a 50 points to none Ballaratesque first quarter job to brutally crush their spirits. Get Bruce a ten goal haul to ease his troubled mind. Their defence is probably their best line so it's actually a pretty good challenge to try to atone and use inside 50 dominance to play our forwardline into some semblance of system and form.
I think more than any other year, this year is about momentum, confidence, and wellbeing. West Coast and Richmond were pretty awful until they scrapped an ugly one and things snowballed from there. I don't think Port are actually anywhere near a 'game clear on top good' but are feeling pretty damn good about things and are doing enough to get it done.

I hope these words don't come back to haunt us, like the "I love beating Carlton thread".

Yeah the Adelaide game has all the hallmarks of a typical bulldogs loss.

I just want to deal with the upcoming Brisbane game, which I'm taking the family to.
If the Dogs and Lions kick for goal like they did this round, its gonna be the most frustrating game to watch.

True. I suppose the concept remains relevant, buy the talk was premature.
