slowed to a crawl now. Unless one of the Hemsworth bro's commit to buying 1 membership for every membership people purchase over the next 2 weeks I can't see us breaking 60k this season.

Still a fantastic result; it just seems such a far-cry from what I ever thought we'd be able to achieve when I consider our membership size in the late 80's, for example.

The number is still very impressive and it was always an ambitious target so the club will probably be happy enough.
I don't like the way we, and I assume every other club, calculate membership numbers though because on match day even allowing for some poor fixtures it's not necessarily resulting in extra 'bums on seats'.

Our starts to the year don’t help.
No doubt if we were 11 and 3 we would pick up a couple of thousand more.
I know supporters and it’s all about getting finals tickets if we look like making it.

So in the 4 days since Prince Imperial's post above, we've added 489 without playing a match?

I think we know the key to getting us to 60,000 right there.
