Re: 3 things learned - R16 vs North Melbourne
1. Well played by Bevo on pulling another one out of the hat with playing of Lobby at half back.
And on persevering with Bramble and Vander.
2. Must tidy up our entries to the forwards. Do that and we'll keep building the percentage.
3. Tim's continuing to have an average season by his standards. Really hope he can turn it around soon.
And while i'm at it what is it with clubs playing music after every goal??
A lame effort to create "atmosphere"?

1 - Despite us not winning with the sort of margin we should have I do feel Bevo has gotten a lot right in the last 6 weeks. Today was no exception.
2 - Question marks on Lobb's attitude and approach is off the mark. He's a required player.
3 - Bailey Williams has been vastly more consistent than I have given him credit for.

1. Old dog, new tricks (Lobb)
2. New pups (one look into the future, a play from end to end between Sanders, Gags & Freijah)
3. Bid dog (if that?s an injured Bont, god help if we make finals and he gets another week off the refresh)

Couldn't stand it. Music and the bloke on the loud speaker at 1/4 time breaks with stupid lame games

1. Haven't sat at ground level (row d) for years - get such a different perspective of the game. Great when play is on your side, horrible when its across the ground.
2. Bevo the master, outcoached Angry Any - Lobb to backline, keeping LDU quiet, Larkey goalless and only 5 disposals.
3. Libba is a warrior, gives his all

Re: 3 things learned - R16 vs North Melbourne
1. Play the songs after goals. It’s fun and I like fun.
2. Rory Lobb. Cmon who called that?
3. Sheezel is a superstar and I absolutely never want to find out about any of his off field opinions.

1. Happy to be proven wrong with Lobb down back today
2. Hopefully it clicks for Jamarra soon, bloody frustrating today dropping sitters.
3. Jones and Bont had there superhero capes on today

Re: 3 things learned - R16 vs North Melbourne
1. Jones just keeps on keeping on. Must be among the best 5 tall defenders
2. Up until today, Lobb has had a mixed career with us as a forward ruck. Has gone often missing or is ineffectual. This may have been due to our game style, not kicking to him or just Lobb himself. But as a defender, the ball finds Lobb and his opponent and he is far involved. And effective today.
3. Bramble is now a good consistent foot soldier down back.
The fight is here; I need ammunition, not a ride.

I heard he thinks Jar Jar Binks deserved more air time.

Re: 3 things learned - R16 vs North Melbourne
1. Seeing a player at the crossroads find his place and thrive is enormously satisfying.
2. The young brigade are having their moments, today it was Vander and Freijah.
3. A two-for-one. English's value is dropping by the week/North make a difficult, but correct, decision, to move Goldstein on and prioritise Xerri.

Re: 3 things learned - R16 vs North Melbourne
1. Sanders and Freijah are the most composed first year players I have seen at the Dogs in some time. They never panic and almost always make the right decision and take the right option by hand and foot.
2. The 3 whipping boys all played well.
3. Weightman is such a barometer for us, when he is up and about we generally win.

This is something Freijah struggled with over the past two rounds. So glad to see him hitting targets and imposing himself on contests today.
