Re: Always Right Match Committee Round 17 VS Port Adelaide

Port have Marshall, Georgiades, Lord and Finlayson. 4 talls but they kinda play more medium overall. I don't mind going the extra with Coffield, as I think he is mobile enough. My issue really is playing Buku full stop.

I get the concern for Dogs fans with Jones, out, I am definitely in that boat too. But at the other end we have Darcy, Naughts and Marra. They have Aliir who is quality but then BZT, who is okay but can be outmatched 1:1 and then Logan Evans (I think) is their 3rd tall. Hopefully we have a decent plan for Aliir, perhaps Naughts sacrifices his game to a degree. We need our 3 tall forwards to all be on as I think their is a big chance to take advantage of their KPD depth/weaknesses with Rat out.

Logan Evans is 189cm, 18 years old and playing his third game. Whichever of our talls he is matched up on should they have an advantage in marking contests.

Unusual choice for the travelling emergency - Baker or Daniel would be more versatile options.

This would seem to be a terrible idea.

They are probably just taking Clarke to get a look at travelling with the team etc.

I would say mjp has better football knowledge than anyone else on Woof, you may want to check some of his posting history if you are not familiar.

And to be fair Clarke as the travelling emergency (if he's the only one) is a strange choice given he can only play small forward.

LOL - that's fair...as someone else has in their signature, Bevo is an AFL premiership coach and I'm just a crappy internet poster.

But that would be narcing, and we don't tolerate that in these parts.
