Shouldn't the home team for a particular match just get a percentage of all revenue from that particular match? Gate receipts, merch, food and drink, whatever else...

That some club supporter dollars are worth more to a club than others is just the reality of this stupid competition. That we could get 45K and get paid less than an EFC crowd of 45K for home games is out of control. And then those with "clean stadiums" (cough Sedat, cough Sedat) is beyond ridiculous.

The AFL bought the stadium in 2016 for ~$200m.

What happens to current club deals?
The AFL will now be able to construct new deals for all five tenant clubs. The Western Bulldogs, North Melbourne and St Kilda had been worse off under current arrangements. Essendon and Carlton split their home games between Docklands and the MCG.

It's possible Eddie isn't completely on top of current arrangements, though it's also possible the clubs outside of EFC and Carlton have been ****ed over since.

Not to mention Anzac Day, Dream Time games it really is as bad as it gets considering the Dons are the worst performed team over a stretch in my lifetime and also the team that cheated the most.

Now they are also getting the Aflw dream time game. Screw the foundation clubs. Surely there should be a foundation match Dogs v Dees but nooooo.

No it was a private group i believe.

The stadium was originally developed by the Docklands Stadium Consortium and thereafter controlled by the Seven Network. The remaining leasehold interest in the stadium was sold to James Fielding Funds Management in June 2006 for A$330 million.

They won trade week. Spent over $2M on McKay, Gresham, Duursma & Goldstein. Tried to offload the huge salary of Shiel and couldn?t (they won that trade week too). They stuffed around Massimo and he?s the second best rated winger in the comp for Hawthorn. Gave Geelong the pick for Mannagh to move up one spot to get Caddy who was reportedly not going to be taken by Geelong. Gleefully took Lual and left us Freijah. After compo/shuffling they?ll have one pick inside 40 this year. After a soft draw they?ll be out of the 8 this week with the fourth WORST percentage in the AFEL. Now they look like missing finals and extending the best and longest dry spell in world sport.

Awesome summary of their rabid deluded success. They could not get rid of Dodo, he had to be around for trade week to rubber stamp that "win trade" week slogan.

The best part about their slide is they are threatening to finish 9th, which is kinda the worst place to finish for any team in terms of draft picks.
