Re: Congratulations to Adam Treloar playing his 250th Game.

Working class lad made good, after a stint north, a stint with the biggest working class and overall club in the land, and a true finding of his home - if he ever buys in - at the truest of working class clubs that he drives an hour to get to every time he has to be there and loves it.

He's an absolute legend and always represents himself and the club so damn well.

As an aside, there's been a bit written about Beveridge's commitment to his players and they to him these past few days. I don't know how anyone could be more committed than Adam is to the coach after the 2021 semi final against Brisbane. Particularly given the experience he had at his previous club. Having lost his best mate who he really clearly loves, whilst playing good football, to being adored by the Bulldogs faithful Adam is in my time the best mature acquisition we've made.

Re: Congratulations to Adam Treloar playing his 250th Game.

I don't know Adam from a bar of soap but listening to him speak in the media he is the most open, honest and transparent player there is. From how he is going, to how his family is to how life is at the bulldogs. The interview Adam did with Gerard Whately in round 3 or 4 this year was one of the best interviews I have ever heard in my life. It honestly gave me hope we would turn the season around.

I have said this before but as soon as the trade was completed, I did a lot of reading on Adam and his family and the consistent theme was his love for his family and his mate ship with his teammates.

On to his onfield, bloody hell, my goodness he is a bloody good footballer. Nothing better than seeing Adam with the ball inside 50m as you pretty much know it will be a goal...

If you still are questioning Adam's commitment to the bulldogs or his defensive running, please have a look at Adam's possession heat map from the Sydney game.

49% of his forty touches happened in the defensive half of the ground. That is insane considering how much territory we owned in that game.

    Go well Adam, go well.

Re: Congratulations to Adam Treloar playing his 250th Game.

As others have said, he has been a marvelous addition to the team. I've said a few times early on, I wasn't thrilled by his arrival - purely that at the time I didn't think he was what we needed.
Thank goodness I'm not a part of the Bulldog's list management group!

They absolutely 100% got this trade right. He's not only an A Grade footballer, but an A Grade human too by all public evidence to date.

I am genuinely grateful he is talking to the club on extending his tenure with us... It would be great for him to get over 100 games with us. I'd love us to win a flag with him...I would love to see the pure joy and relief on Adz' face given his previous GF experiences with Collingwood and us.

He is an A grade footballer and A+ person to have around the club like you mentioned YHF.

What incredible timing that he came to us, part of the pie's salary dump.

His a goal kicking midfielder, which is so important these days.

Re: Congratulations to Adam Treloar playing his 250th Game.

I left off my post earlier that I particularly started to warm to the Adz's trade when I discovered he played for my old junior team too, Noble Park...albeit probably some 20 years apart...
As some here might know about me, I grew up in Noble Park until 1985 before moving to Qld as a 12 yr old. I went to Southvale Primary, Noble Park Primary School, Harrisfield Primary School in the 'Greater' Noble Park area.

As stated by others, what a pick up he's become. As a club that doesn't get so many high profile pick ups, I think we're so lucky that he fell in our lap. Love the way he handles himself and I'd love nothing more than to see him win a flag with us.

Everything suggests he's one of the most caring, decent players at the club.
It's not often fans of a player's former club praise a guy who left, but Pies fans all are glowing in their assessment of him too.

He's a very very very difficult guy to dislike. Still does work with Noble Park juniors too IIRC. Just to give something back.

Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

At least he, unlike Gaggs, cares enough to wear the right shirt.

Gaggs had a McNeil 50 games t shirt and was told to cover it up

    Maybe he's taking the photo?

To be fair I reckon there are about 7 players missing from that photo, give or take.

Anyone else thinks 250 game merch for a guy who's played 70 games for our club is a bit weird? Who's buying that?
