Re: The unofficial "Where is T&T?" who to root for thread
If we make it, worse case would be Bris in Bris, next Freo in Perth, then GWS in Syd
Hawthorn have to drop soon. Playing Rich and NM it won’t be then so the finals occasion might get to them. I’d rather play them then go interstate for an elimination,
But my ladder predictor has us beating NM, losing to GWS, and being in 8th come the last game.
Freo beats Port in Perth to knock us out.
I will never see #16 the same!!

Simple now:
Win two, home EF
Win one, away EF or 9th
Pretty strong reason for the guys to turn up to play the next two games.

Well it’s up to the boys now. It’s entirely in their hands.

Two wins gives us an (unlikely) but outside chance of Top 4.
Ultimately, if we miss the top 4 I think this is the top 8 we want:
So:
Sydney
GWS
Geelong
Brisbane
WB
Hawks
Port
Freo
This would mean our path would likely be Freo (H), Sydney (A), Geelong (MCG)/GWS (A), Brisbane/Hawks/Port GF.
I like this because I think Brisbane/Port at the MCG is a hugely different proposition than at home.

Ps Aside us winning both- a Collingwood win over Brisbane, and Port losing both are critical to this scenario.

I would say our chances of top 4 are 0.001%.
I think two wins would pretty much set us up against Hawks at the MCG. If I was a betting man. 6th vs 7th.

Hopefully, however it falls, we somehow avoid Brisbane in Brisbane and Port at AO. These are the two matchups I am least confident about.
I like our chances against GWS or Sydney away.

If we win both, I hope. Hawks win both, which is nearly certain. We play them at the MCG. There’s on easy finals, but I’d prefer this than dropping one and then probably going to GWS. We can get them, but I reckon the Hawks under the pressure of an early finals might be gettable like we were in 2015.
Just win both and keep winning.
(Lions keep their lead and Port & Cats just get one draw/win.)

Re: The unofficial "Where is T&T?" who to root for thread
If we do get the home final it's likely to be against an MCG tenant club.
If Port win both and the no matter the result of the Blues tomorrow we will play hawthorn at their home ground.
If Port lose to both the Crows and Freo then we play Carlton, effectively an away final.
The only scenario we play a Non Victorian Team in week one is if Port lose both and Carlton win against the Eagles tomorrow, where we will play against the Dockers.
All of this is assuming we win both of our remaining games

Would be nice. The last final I went to involving the Bulldogs was the glorious day on October 1, 2016.

If Geelong get a live kill and smash West Coast at home next week and get ahead of GWS percentage, GWS will already know that they can lose and stay in Sydney for the QF.
