Meek is a good average ruckman.
Bruest and Gunstan are ancient.
Not sure how a bunch of smart arse mid size and small players are pulling off this form to be honest.
D'Ambrosio is such a key player for the Hawks...lethal left footer who transitions the ball from the back line to the forward line. Rarely misses a target.
Footscray member since 1980.

Aside from Curnow, which other Blues were injured?
The fight is here; I need ammunition, not a ride.

Fogerty was subbed out, Jack Martin hammy? Boyd also looked injured.

I guess Bruest and Gunstan want to play finals for 1 more time before they retire.
What a weekend of footy. The 3 big clubs outside of the 8: Essendon, Carlton and Collingwood.
Scoot seemed to be trying to hold back his rage at the post-game conference with Essendon. If Dodo is really gone, there could be a some players chopped at end of season.
Fremantle continue to disappoint. Top 4 begging and they failed again.

Hawks are the form team of the comp. We were 3-5 after 8 rounds, Brisbane were terrible early on.
Shows how long a season is and being the best team all year is very different to being the best team when it matters.

Hawthorn will be no pushovers if they make the 8. They are fit. They run in waves when they have the ball and when they don't have it. They apply a lot of pressure and they don't turn it over when they have it.

Of all the teams, they are the one I least want to play in Melbourne. I think the bigger MCG plays into their hands against us- I think we will struggle to manage their speed on spread.

Houston out is a big loss for Port. Can?t see him getting less than 4-5, but will they apply the invisible ?finals discount? and bump it down a little to make him available for the big dance if they make it?

From the Vision I saw he didnt hit his head and also looked to try and stop.
He might not get as many weeks as people say.
Head hitting the ground is what will get him.
Bring back the biff

Zero chance - if you elect to bump, you wear the consequences. He's gone for 5+

Maybe ten years ago ledge.
That's a 5 weeker. He won't play again this season. Rankine was out cold.

Agree. Also, when you hear Kane Cornes say he thinks it is 4+ when it is someone from Port, you know it has to be bad.
