The catastrophic state of our list is mostly our own fault, but it's hard to believe that we won't be given something similar probably with the proviso that we trade them for established players. Getting anybody of any quality who would be willing to come us though will likely be the problem.
It’s a young competition and getting young ones into this environment is too much a jump, they could look great at VFLW level but just aren’t up to professional football.
We are going to be in pain for the next two years minimum. It’s terrible it got to this and the club obviously stopped taking it serious and made horrid decisions after the 2017 season, now it’s at its lowest and took to long to realise it.

What have we done so badly compared to other clubs?

We are bad, lucky to kick a goal a game but I will say the Grigg girl is extremely good.
Another one who will probably want out at the end of the year. We have nothing to keep players here with these results.

I will say the umpiring is atrocious not against us but just in general.

Just 5 behinds for the women to 7 goals Port at 3qrt time.

    They are really struggling

I struggle to find something to be positive about. Team work wise, ball handling, there is nothing except players playing as individuals

I didn?t watch last weeks game. I?m at ?G and watched girls play. I thought they tried hard. Missed a few gettable goals and held Port for long periods too. Port looked more mature, bigger, tougher. If we hold onto our young talent & recruit well I?m hoping we will improve but we?ll need to be patient. Finally putting person in Debbie Lee?s role will help too. Gotta support them through thick and thin.

Post Premiership we've been leaking talent like a sieve.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

Weston-Turner managed after 2 games must be a nice way of dropping you.

    Re: Afl - w 2024

Would this be a worst start by any club since the AFLW started,
    2 goals in 3 games ?
Dropping a number 1 draft pick, I don’t see it getting any better.
This is going to be an awful long haul.
Has a coach been sacked during the year in AFLW ?
I know there’s a lot of different reasons why we are in this state but I just can’t see any form of playing for each other or a game plan.

You have to question the demotion of Blackburn too.
Maybe whatever process they used wasn't as popular as they think?

The percentage tells the story : 12.7

Hopefully we can be more competition at Whitten.

More than a third of the list was turned over. We have babies playing and it will take time I am afraid.

Will they kick a goal tonight?
