    Dogs lead 24-15 half time.

I missed the first quarter but was quite impressed with what i saw in the second. Skills were ok and some great efforts eg Grant's spoil when running the same way as the ball which would have been a certain pies mark. Reminiscent of her Dad. She then gathered and executed a perfect 35 metre pass.
Just need to think through the kick into the forward 50.

Grigg has a heap of talent. I think we can use her a bit more than we are.

That's got to be the best quarter by the girls for quiet a long time including last season. Pressure has been good, very good quarter by Wlicox and Grigg.

Grigg has been so clean today, picking the ball up at pace.

Well done. Great to see smiles on their faces. Should do wonders for their confidence.

    Re: Afl - w 2024

Very impressed with the improvement over the last two games, a win will change whole the dynamic and confidence of this group.
Admittedly it was against Collingwood but after the first few games I couldn’t see us getting close to anyone.
Really used handball as a team and connected extremely well.
Some good signs from the young and older players, Grigg , Gorham and Wilcox very impressive.
The backline had a structure that came together, if we can get the same from our forward line we will start climbing the ladder.
Practically spent the whole game in our forward line and we still didn’t seem to connect . It must be a bulldog thing.
But big congratulations to the girls it won’t be the long arduous season I expected now.
    Bring back the biff
