It was not. I know this because Josh Schache didn’t also kick 4 that day.

Shout out to Lachie Keeffe who just kicked his first goal of the season in a final. Amazed he is still on a list, let alone contributing in a QF.

Re: The official Sam Reid/Daniel Currie Memorial Eker Thread
Its that time end of the season and what a great time to reflect on eker achievements for those yet to be delisted. Nominations for this year's eker are:
Carter Michael, Brisbane : Cat B rookie in 2020 for Brisbane. Has played 1 game in 3 years. There was a midfielder in West coast who was on there list for years who did not get a game, but I can't recall his name during the Kerr/Cousins/Judd era I think.
Nathan Kruger( Collingwoood): Now at his second cub, where he has played the most games (6) in a season. A tremedeous output considering he had only played 9 games , since being recruited initially at Geeolong in 2019. Kreuger's first senior game in 406 days, since round seven last season, he kicked 3 goals. Injuries have restricted his availability, but he is vying for that ruck role against Cameron and Cox.
Brandon Preuss( GWS): now at his 3rd club. Spends more time in the rehab group than on the ground, he is threatening a career change as an occupational therapist. 28 games since 2015(that was even before Tim English was recruited!)
Has not played a game for GWS since 2022 , where he played 10 , most every in his career. So infrequent his games that his wiki page has not even been updated with his producitvity in 2022. Rumour has it that GWS are threatening to delist him with the emergence of Briggs who has had a breakout season.
Farewell : Tom Campbell : Delisted from st kilda after playing only 4 games since 2022, with 2 games in 2024, ZERO in 2023. He has stood the test of time, 3 clubs and one of the bench marks of AFL longevity having started his career with WB in 2012. The
apex of archetypal Eker /journeyman/bestclubman/utility all round good guy afl player you want to have on your club, or at least 1 in 3 clubs!
TC has a lot of fans and they hope his AFL dream is not yet over, still being a spritely 32 with only 58 games being played, so his body has not been so battered or bruised yet.

I refuse to believe this is the end for Tom.
I should leave it alone but you're not right

Pruess has been delisted by the sounds of it.

I will update the post.
I did not realize he had not played a game since 2022.

Re: The official Sam Reid/Daniel Currie Memorial Eker Thread
Even if it's the end for Pruess 10 years on an AFL list for just 28 games whilst not playing any AFL games during 6 of those seasons is elite ekering. Hats off to him.
Being stuck behind 2 of the best rucks of recent times in Goldstein and then Gawn only for his body to fail him when he moved to GWS is ekeing 101.
Fun fact - Jack Sinclair (187 games) and Jayden Short (175) were taken in the same rookie draft as Pruess (December 2014), as well as one of our elite former ekers in Roarke Smith.

So 2014 is the year of the Eker

Cal Twomey: Melbourne looking at bringing in Tom Campbell as ruck depth for 2025. For his 13th season and just 58 games.
Rename the thread if this happens.

Tom Campbell is a dead set eker legend.
If he gets recruited to Melbourne, he would be a living legend

Since leaving the dogs 5 years ago, BTC has only played in one winning AFEL game.

God if Soup were to make his way onto another list then it's a job well done. Terrific clubman from everything that I've heard but he's not exactly impressing.

The thread needs to have Campbells name it regardless - wouldn?t be the worst move for us to bring back BTC
