We shop at Aldi mate.

It's simply impossible for a club like ours to effectively rebuild on the fly. We don't get the dodgy legups Geelong and Sydney do and aren't a big club that can offer playing in front of big crowds week to week. The only option we have to bring in difference maker's is via the draft. Which involves bottoming out. Until then we'll just sit in no man's land the way north did 10yrs ago.

Re: Trade Rumours 2024
I get the negativity towards us landing a big fish as they generally end up at a bigger club. But surely with a contending list, as well as having state of the art facilities, our fortunes are changing. We should be an attractive destination to any would be suitors, more so than in the past. Can we at least live in hope?? (I get that there may be disappointment but you never know, someone of note (aside from Treloar) may want to join our club).

Hard to believe two games a year in front of seven and a half thousand Ballarat faithful isn't enough to get marquee targets over the line.

It would be a lot better if there was $500m taxpayer funds dedicated to it - ground has proper wings and is not a shithole toy ground.
Also 7,500 crowd will be a sell-out for Peatling and XOH

The surface is amazing. It just needs stands at the southern end
Selfishly I pay a fair bit for my membership (my choice I get that) and to only get 9 games because two are there is taking a dump on the members.
I'd be ok with one. And one home game at the G. But I think the dollars are too good to knock back.

Mitch Cleary:
Harry Perryman has toured Collingwood HQ, who have moved to favouritism for the Giants free agent.
Port Adelaide had been the long favourite for his services but footy boss Chris Davies suggested today they may not be front of the queue. Hawks are out of the race
