You don't have to be saying that Sweet is better than English, or should have played ahead of English, to acknowledge that he had a good finals series.
nothing to do with Tim. I just think rucks have to do more than hitouts

Sorry Meek. I know you don’t like Sweet but the general consensus was he beat Grundy, Besides after the GF you can’t have Grundy as the best ruck of the series.

Absolutely, to me it's all about how much impact any player really but as ruckmen, have in a game and it's not just about stats, it's the 2nd, 3rd, 4th efforts at times, it's the way they help out their midfielders, i mean a forward can have 6 kicks for a game and not one other stat but kick 6 goals, that's having an impact without blowing out the stats sheet, with Sweet what i liked about his finals series was that impact, he's never going to massive amounts pf possessions, but it's all about those other things like the 1 percenters, putting his body on the line etc etc.

Yeah. Sweet's chief selling point is he's a competitor with a healthy dose of bastard in him and I'd welcome that back with open arms in the heat of a torrid finals game.

Re: Sweet Jesus: Should Jordan Sweet be our first ruck?

If we just keep persevering we'll eventually reach a consensus on what makes a good ruck. We'll agree which tangible stats matter, and then get working on the intangible stuff that depends on the eye test across hundreds of different people's perspectives.

Well done Jordon. Always wanted you to stay but that wasn't to be.
    TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.
