Some jungle drums beating re Bazlenka and the Tigers. Right age profile. Big club with massive media exposure and fan base. He would immediately be the biggest name at the club. If he wants brand attention there it is. They have the draft picks. They have the salary space. B Smith to the Tigers is huge headline news. Watch this space
Please please no.
I hate going to Richmond games as it is. The thought of Baz with that stinking yellow stripe and me sitting in the proximity of those ferals is just too much.

Feels like best case scenario. They?ve got plenty of picks, money and a desperate need for some good news .

Where they could potentially walk him to the PSD.
If they emerged as a serious suitor, you’d take what you could get if there’s any goodwill. More than happy for him to land at Punt Rd

Re: Trade Rumours 2024
GEELONG premiership defender Sam De Koning won't be going anywhere, with the Cats youngster set on staying at GMHBA Stadium.
De Koning's name has continued to be floated as a trade option after he wasn't selected for the Cats' finals series but the 23-year-old has no interest in changing clubs and is not intending to seek a trade.
His manager, Robbie D'Orazio from Connors Sports Management, confirmed De Koning was happy at the Cats and has not and would not be exploring any move.
De Koning is contracted for 2025 at the Cats and played 19 games this season, but missed selection in the Cats' preliminary final after a late-season knee injury.
The 2022 premiership backman has played 62 games for Geelong since making his debut in 2021. – Callum Twomey

Re: Trade Rumours 2024
I love how a young premiership guy who played 19 games gets injured, and is a risk for finals and is overlooked, is therefore on the trade market.
TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

It's was always a bit of speculation on our supporters behalf and it seems that many of our supporters believe because his father played for us that made us an attractive destination for him. He'd be a great addition for any team but it's good to put a line through this speculation early on.

From Tom Morris:
GWS has upped its offer for James Peatling from three to four years amid widspread interest & more lucrative deals from rivals.
The GWS best and fairest is tonight & a decision is expected soon

Perhaps a XOH departure is a bit more palatable for them now.

I don't think he reached the heights he did with Geelong, plus, I think WC over paid

Depends on who they missed out on with those picks.
