I don't see a lot of value in him. What's your thoughts?

Re: Delistings and retirements 2024
Joe Daniher has retired.
96 games with Brisbane
Well done on him for going out a high.
He can now catchup with his ex-Essendon colleagues and tell them all about the finals he played and the GF he won.

The fact that he turned his back on massive money tells you a lot. He could have just fronted up half-arsed, feigned lingering soreness and whatnot and collected the cheque.

For some there’s more to life than money. He got what he desired from a football career. A premiership.
With Neale’s MND, he would see this disease first hand and who knows, he may have the mindset that's there’s more to life than football. He seems like a great, down to earth, humble guy, and I always enjoyed watching him play.
I will never see #16 the same!!

Re: Delistings and retirements 2024
Having cut Ryp after AOD retired. If we wanted mature free replacements there’s two currently:
McHenry: 70 Games, 32.19, nearly 3 tackles a game - sounds like a non scoreboard small like we have
Taylor: 76 Games, 33.23, nearly 2 tackles a game - ditto
Not sure there’s scoreboard impact here. However if VDM or McNeil moved to say the HBF, then perhaps there’s a replacement
Plus Konstanty at the Swans who was taken just ahead of Clarke. A trade though.

I think we will stick with Arty another year at least . He just oozes talent but needs to get more of the ball.
Bring back the biff
