Trade week is boring. So here?s a waste of 5 minutes if you want it.

    Boring!

So here?s something that won?t happen - Fantasy Trade Week. The players who said no, Barrass & Houston reconsider with other clubs going cold or shut out for poor trading. If they really want to come back to Victoria, then?:

    1. BS & F2 for 17 & F1
    2. 17 & F1 (G) for Barrass & F2 (Richmond on traded with Baker)
    3. CD for 25 & for swaps of F3 & F4
    4. Houston for F1 (ours) & 25 (F1 GCS on traded for Luko)
    5. Macrae & some salary for 27
    6. Use picks 27, 35 & 48
    7. Konstanty DFA
    8. Salary from BS, Jack & CD (c. $2M+) to Barrass & Houston (c. $2M) - still plenty spare cap to sign all our guns
    9. Retire Keath with 3 trades out, plus AOD & Bedendo = 6 out
    10. 6 players incoming
    11. Clarke gets a one year deal
    12. 2025; F2 (WCE), F3 (North), F4 (North)

    2025:

    B: Dale L. Jones Lobb
    HB: Bramble Barrass Freijah
    C: Williams Libba Houston
    HF: West Naughton Sanders
    F: Darcy Marra Weightman
    R: English Bont Treloar
Int From: Richards VDM Gags Garcia Doc Harmes McNeil JOD Buss Coff Khamis JJ Arty Croft Clarke Konstanty Gardner Smith Cleary Baker Poulter 27 35 48

Barrass a huge upgrade on Khamis
Houston a big upgrade on 2024 Daniel
Konstanty at least likely to be fit to play more than a few VFL games compared to AOD/Ryp
Sanders equal or better to 2024 Jack
Natural growth and development in the kids

    = Vast improvement

    After which:

Buss to take over from L. Jones after next year. Managing them both through 2025.
Croft to take the very tall defender role sometime from Lobb after that.
Arty/Clarke/Konstanty take a small goal kicking role.
Sanders takes over from Jack next year and eventually Libba if Garcia doesn?t.
Richards transitions into Ads role and we manage Ads body and use his more HHF/forward as he?s a great kick for goal
    Houston replaces/upgrades Daniel
Barrass, Lobb & Jones the best intercept marking group in the comp by far
Gags, VDM &/or McNeil move to small defender to replace Doc
Three more drafted kids to see what happens with
    Good F2, F3 & F4?s
West and maybe Cooney to keep the kids incoming in 2026

Never happen... We hit the draft as hard as we can this year.

They have a week and a half for all this awesome ConTent and then have none to produce. It?s frustratingly boring. The trade period should be less than a week. Get shit done or shut up already.

In the meantime he?s some pretend content.

This is the sort of content that Robot Building Supplies and Ace Gutters would be proud to put their name to.

How many people are building robots that there's a whole supply market? Is this the singularity?

Exactly and can you really trust a company with the first name Ace?
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

Accepting a trade for Macrae is the right thing to do. The options BT detailed are:
Pick #27 if we contribute some of his salary (150K?) is tempting especially if we can roll up a few picks for something earlier in the draft.
Pick #47 is unders but okay if we are to clear the impact of his contract.

Losing Daniel wouldn't be great but if we were to land pick #25 in a strong draft we should be confident we can find a replacement.
This one might stall. It seems we are playing a game of 'Who's going to say I love you first? with North.

Then there is human headline in Bailey Smith
Pick #17 and a F1 is fair value.
Pick #17 and a F2 is unders but probably something we can live with
Pick #17 and a F1 for Smith and our F2 is also something we can probably live with
Pick #17 and a F2 for Smith and our F3 might be considered.
Pick #17 on it's own would be a poor outcome.
Strap yourself in, this one might go down to the wire.

    Macrae for 27
    Daniel for 25
    Smith for 17 and F1
    25 and 27 for a late first
17, F1 and the late first for pick idk 5 or so
    Draft Sam Lalor
Win the next 15 straight premierships
