What shits me is how this feeder club has strengthened already strong clubs:
Rich: Prestia, Lynch, Caddy
Port: Dixon, todays trades
Geel: Bowes/7, Ablett Jr, Caddy
Coll: Houston indirectly,
Carl: Saad, Martin, Hollands
Plus Jaeger, May, Rankine, etc

Thankfully.
Pies would have been falling over themselves to get that signed off

Fancy a trade spruiked on trade radio being big Vic biased!
I'm glad it's not going through.
How do we get Baz and Geelong involved in this?

No. Our best offer right now is 35 & F1. Not even close.
Everything (trades, pick trades) hinges on Geelong.

It actually also hinges on Power.
Rightly or wrongly is holding our also limits our ability to do anything and it has been that way for a number of years now.

This is the problem he faces. Take an earlier poor offer and try to deal. Or wait and get a better deal, which then limits him to pick trading. He’s a bit in a no win situation. Clubs are deliberately trying to exploit us by running the clock out to ramp up the pressure on Sam. He’s damned if he does or doesn’t. Unless there’s a guaranteed great trade for a lesser trade, I back him to wait it out for better returns on players.

I would think that the Eagles think the draft is pretty even in the top 15 or so and want someone who they reckon will be there at 12.
14 goes for Baker and Owies comes in so they get some senior talent in as well.
Maybe they're keen on local kid Bo Allan and think he will be there anyway.
