I can't explain it but recently I have been subconsciously thinking Matthew Boyd will be our next senior coach.

Not sure when and the how but I am a big believer that he is the type of person we need as our next senior coach, just like Luke Beveridge was back in 2015.

I don't think Boyd will be a people person like Bevo

    He's very disciplined and intense.
I can't recall who it was that said at these Mad Monday type events there were 3 categories of players who attended and then later corrected himself and said there was a 4th with Boyd being the sole exception who just sat down and quietly and enjoyed a drink.
I can also recall at a club even at the Whitten Oval when Boyd had only been at the club for 3 or 4 years that he kept reminding the players who were starting to stand around in small groups that they were supposed to be in other areas.

I'm sure he's adjusted his approach but I suspect he still sets high standards and holds people to account.
