Yeah I looked up the fixture. Arsenal with the Monday night/Tuesday morning game v Bournemouth. Good for me because I don't have to work Tuesday.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Will be a bit of feeling in it too after the battle of the Bridge last year. No love lost between players and between the fans. A draw would be a solid result for Spurs.

A draw would be a good result in that game for Arsenal and Liverpool as well. Two competitors for the title losing two points would almost make the ground that we lost on the weekend up.

            No thanks

My two favourite Gerrard monents were the cracking header for us in the 2005 League Cup Final and of course the Slip.

Just like my favourite John Terry moment.

That's not what Terry yelled at Sen(?)

That's the sort of thing you lie awake at night hoping will happen. The arch villan fails to control a back pass and falls over while the ball rolls to the (than) favourite son, being played on side by the bloke rolling around on the ground, who turns around and smacks home his hatrick and snuffs out the revival that Chelsea had been building.

I was probably thinking of the wrong slip (UCL final vs United in Moscow )

That 5-3 game at the Bridge was ridiculous with some pub league standard defending going on. AVB was just out of his league. Great finish to that season though

Did AVB win the Champions League then get the sack? Do I remember that right?

Lol no. He got sacked mid season(he was out of his depth and the players had had enough) and then Di Matteo took over and won the FA cup and UCL cup double......then got sacked in the first half of the next season.

Wow. That's harsh. Did Mou become available?

Roman didn't want RDM as manager for the following season but he went and stuffed everything up by winning the UCL. As soon as we startered to splutter he was out the door. Was sad and ruthless.

Rafa came in and won us the Europa league. Was never well received by the supporters though.

Mou came in the next season.

Of yeah. All that angst between the manager and the supporters I remember that. Is their any money involved with winning the Europa league?

Pretty sure we won £10m. You also get to play the Super Cup (against the winner of the UCL). Nowadays it also gets you into the UCL the next season.
