Tsonga defeats Hewitt in the first round. Hewitt's best is well and truly past.

I agree. Its almost sad to see him wander around like a shadow of his former self.

He should make the Aus Open his swansong next year.

World number 1 Nadal knocked out yesterday amazingly in 5 sets. Are Federer and Djokovic on the same side of the draw or are the on different sides?

Nadal is number two in the world, Djokovic is number one and has been for over a year.

Yes, Federer and Djokvic are in the same half of the draw.

Amazing, very surprised to see Federer get through in four.

He will be very satisfied defeating the world number 1 Djkovic. He hasn't won a grand slam in a while now as he has dropped to number 3.

That he will be. If he can manage to win the whole lot it will be a great performance. I for one hope he does.

Is Murray or Tsonga a chance against Federer?

Would be nice to see a Scot as the pride of England.
