Is that the lowest they have been in a while as I remember them being at least in the top 10 of the FIFA World rankings. They certainly have the problem of producing quality home grown talent.

This is the problem when you don't give opportunities to home grown talent and take in all those imports.

I remember once a while back Arsenal fielded a squad of 11 players who were all imports. You can have a top domestic league but an average national team.

Not at all IMO. They've never been particularly good and now as other nations are becoming a lot more professional England are still very amateurish.

TBH I think the youth set up is where they should be better developing the players.

Bayern destroy City in Manchester 1-3.

Strange that City turn into such a crap team when ever they play Champions League football.

Opposite to Liverpool in the 2004/05 campaign where they were crap in the EPL and good in the Champions League ultimately winning against AC Milan. I think they were just lucky to win the ECL in that year.
