    The World Cup Thread.

Starts tomoz morning...so excited. Draws here http://www.fifa.com/worldcup/matches/

Couldn't have come at a better time with how uninspiring the Dogs are ATM.

First game Brazil v Croatia, should be a cracking game with the home team being to strong in the end.

Not expecting much from us, just making it with all things considered is a amazing achievement.

Had to start a new thread Twodogs as yours is closed for some reason.

Who's everyone going for as their second team?

Mines split between Belgium, Spain and Brazil(because of the big Chelsea contingent) and would love a Brazil v Spain final.

They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

                    Love the World Cup.

Will be watching England closely, think Sterling will tear it up.

Think Germany will be hard to beat.

As for the Aussies, well miracles can happen.

They should, but i think this ones more about the experience for Belgium. Great young side that's going to be a real Golden generation for them.

Own goals puts Croatia up, would be a huge upset.

Geez that penalty was a gift to the "soccer is for pansies that like to fall over" crowd. Thought Croatia spurned a few good opportunities there and could have snagged a point easy.

For a skinny bloke Oscar is so strong over the ball.
I should leave it alone but you're not right

That skinny bloke Oscar is as tough as any in the Prem, he's a tackling machine. Amazing footballer and still so young.

He and Neymar are going to shine this WC.
