Thanks G. Hopefullly that is the case. That would be the best case scenario.
The mainstream media have not said anything about this yet, from what I have seen. They must have some idea that something is up. There must be some reason behind that too you would think.
It's why it wouldn't be a bad idea to get a statement done now/soon if that is at all possible. There might also be some sensitivities that need to factor into any statement.Western Bulldogs Football Club "Where it's cool to drool"👍 1Comment

I just want to thank everyone who has participated in the discussions so far and they have been respectful and informative.
I appreciate that it's a hard discussion for many people to grasp with given the limited understanding of the underlying issue.
Just remember our players are subjected to many of the challenges and distractions that young people face. They're not immune.
We have seen players struggle at times and then get back to their best and we need to look no further than Tom Liberatore to know that once he got a few things sorted he got back to playing some great football and now is an excellent leader at the club.

Mitch Cleary’s post
Jamarra Ugle-Hagan is in growing doubt for Round One as he continues to miss key pre-season sessions.
The Bulldogs are expected to provide an update on Ugle-Hagan’s complex personal situation and his immediate playing future in coming days.👍 2Comment

Maybe it's happened but no one is aware. Libba has been fantastic since a few things got sorted out with him.
By the way 3AW news is already confirming that Marra is in doubt for Round one with underlying health concerns.
The work is well and truly out now and the club will have to address it.Doing my best to use emojis more frequently :oComment

As they say, it's starting to get real now. There are a few on here that have predicted today or tomorrow will be the day the club makes an announcement.Doing my best to use emojis more frequently :oComment

On Facebook and one or two other sites I have read a lot of wild theories and I hate that.
I just come on here to get a more balanced summary without all the emotion and wanting to be the person who leaked all the information first.
Lets hope the club does address it as it's gone on long enough.

Ugle-Hagan dealing with personal issues, has missed much of pre-season (Sam McClure in The Age)
Western Bulldogs star Jamarra Ugle-Hagan has been absent from training for much of the pre-season.
Two club sources, speaking on the condition of anonymity to talk freely, said he had barely been sighted at training since the start of December last year.
A source close to Ugle-Hagan, who didn’t want to be quoted because of the personal nature of the situation, said the star forward had been dealing with personal issues and that the club was supporting him.
The Bulldogs were contacted for comment and said they were likely to provide an update on the record in the coming days.
Ugle-Hagan has kicked 103 goals in his first four seasons at AFL level, including a career-high 43 in 2023.
Ugle-Hagan went goalless in his last two games of last season, including a four-disposal performance in the elimination final loss to Hawthorn, when he kicked just one behind.
He signed a two-year contract extension in May of last year, keeping him at the Kennel until the end of 2026.
