Terrific win as others have said. Some great signs from our kids.

I feel for St Kilda and other smaller like clubs though. How are they supposed to compete when the likes of Hawthorn and Geelong raid you? The AFEL is basically heading the way of EPL where the same teams compete at the top. There's one or two outliers from time to time, but essentially it's the same old.

No idea how the AFEL can stop it. In fact it goes against what they want. But I'd love to see something whereby top 4 teams are restricted in trading with bottom 8 teams, or something to make it harder for these 'big' clubs.

        It was round 6 2005 - Sun 1 May.

        Close enough.

I try not to jump too quick on youngsters but I was really frustrated watching Sanders get pushed off the ball at a rare live game I watched against Collingwood.

Credit to Sanders himself but the coaches need some credit here I think. Has only got better since and seems to be playing a bit more outside and holding his position.

Great having JJ back. Getting some tremendous run and drive with Dale and Bramble.

Must stand and salute the Colonel too.

Too many good signs to mention. And one tragedy not to be spoken of.

We are jinxed. Really tough night for the players to see a team mate go down.

The response was emphatic. Great to see.

Think I've heard in the past with ACL you get that immediate intense pain then it's ok, just wobbly.

The mechanism looked like a classic ACL, and they have obviously done the manual tests in the rooms which have been positive for an ACL injury.

They won't outright confirm it until they have scanned it, because you can get false positives, but the mechanism + positive manual test would be leaving them pretty confident that it's an ACL rupture.

Walking around, not looking in pain, no ice on the knee etc...none of that really helps the diagnosis unfortunately.

I’ve been critical of English but he has been better in the ruck this year in terms of his ability to compete. My preference is for your ruck to be able to intercept mark which has regressed for Tim but credit where it’s due at the source.

Would be huge for us if he started marking the ball again. Very frustrating to watch and have to assume multiple concussions are playing on his mind.

Seems English can’t do two things at once. It’s either around the ground marking or winning the ruck you won’t get both one will be horrid.

English needs to hold those marks. I'm a big critic of his but think he was pretty good today. He was really worked over but thought gave out midfield good usage in stoppages. Take some of those marks and he's had a very good game.

English's touch with his hands and right foot were fantastic.

                            Home now from Marvel.

A downer with Sam Darcy going down with that knee injury. I wish for a full speedy recovery. Feel bad for him and the family.

Great performance tonight. A real great contribution from the team. Having Bontempelli back was big - he was great. Libba fantastic - loved the tackle on Brad Hill.

Nice to have others pick up the slack forward of the ball. West was great. Enjoyed Naughton's game. He has got his confidence back. Sanders played one go his best games.

Was impressed with a few things Josh Dolan. Only 18 and so many years ahead. Freijah looked good as well as Davidson. It bodes well for the future.

Great display tonight but the thing I am most proud of was the fact that the utmost respect was paid to Jack Macrae in the fact that not one boo seemed to come from the punters side of the fence. Jacko gave his all for our club and will forever be a Bulldog premiership player.

Credit to the team for not caving when Darcy injured himself. In previous seasons we have not responded well when we have had serious in game injuries under Bevo.

I still have a vivid memory of being 50 points up against the saints and collapsing once clay smith did his knee.
