Nobody in the league plays like he does.
Watching their games im concerned too. He's very hard to stop because of his ability to release the ball quickly and accurately in the contest. He's a huge guy, easy to forget that.

His kicking sometimes can look awkward but it's pretty deadly.

I'm starting to wonder if we made the right choice with Jack. Kennedy I guess balances it a bit. He's temu Jacko.

I’m backing in our guys. Bevo will not allow Jacko to prove him wrong so he will have plans and send someone to him for the day.
      BB.

Looking forward - Naughton, Darcy and JUH. It will be the envy of everyone.

Or he will be so stubborn he will just let him go and say, see he gets 40 and we still win !!

I think you're right we will do what we've done against Neale and Serong which is to have a couple of midfielders trying to negate them.

          .
Interesting that if Libba had 30 and Jacko gets 40. Libba cuts you to shreds and we win by a lot.

Jacko gets a lot of it but IMO he doesn’t hurt you like Libba. Both are great team men but I think we did the right thing as we only needed one of them and moving one on allowed an injection of pace which was far more required

            Great effort Granty.

I see this as a battle of their pace against our aerial strengths.

Really important that our talls dominate the air to keep it away from their speed.

They have some speed don't they. Henry coming back is going to add to that. The young guy he replaced Trevaglia is a ripper too so the Saints have a pretty bright future I think.

We need to get clean quick ball inside to our talls advantage so they can't intercept.

Losing Battle hurts them in this sense.

Their HB are a huge concern. Sinclair and NWM are two of the games best rebounding defenders.

Coupled with our biggest weakness, stopping the opposition transitioning from end to end.

As pointed out, if this game remains on the outside we will struggle.

That’s the best we have defended transition since last year last 12 games. Much needed, not going anywhere if we can’t do that regardless of personnel although clearance dominance with Bont back helps.

Yep. Saints could not move the ball at all and they were so stagnant after the first ten minutes of the game.

We took away their score sources.

Turnover we basically controlled the ball, it was a real change up in the way we transition from defence. I can't recall us playing that controlled. I hope we keep doing it! Then we they did recover it we swarmed with pressure like we were possessed.

Stoppage, well we just killed them there they couldn't get any clean clearances.

It really was a brilliant night for the coaches.

Was our second biggest inside 50 differential

The Dogs destroyed the Saints in forward entries 69-31, which was the Bulldogs’ second biggest differential since the stat has been recorded.

And Ross the Boss lamented our ability to get it uncontested which was a real shift for us.

“And they’re not a high uncontested mark team. They had 125 so it just tells you we lost them and couldn’t find them and tonight we lick our wounds.”

Saints are really missing King or a tall target, but their issue as you say was getting the ball down there. 31 inside 50s just doesn't do it.

They're big, but they lost it in the midfield which should be their strongest line.

Macrae, Steele, Marshall are all quality. I was surprised they didn't push Sinclair through there more, considering how they were absolutely smashed at centre bounces - he only had 14 touches in open play (+7 kick ins), and no impact on the game.

Centre clearances 20-6, total clearances 44-23 - I think our midfield group had a personal vendetta not to let Macrae win that battle.
