The Moment: Rnd 7, 2025 vs GWS

The moment; the best, most courageous moment that caught your eye in tonight's game against GWS.
Was it the moment that told you 'we've got this' or 'we lost this one right here'? Or was it the moment that you went 'wow....that is crazy courage'

Was it a collection of moments or perhaps one you felt had greater significance outside of the actual game's result?.. Or maybe it was a downright gobshite game, with little to crow about...but you know, you're still down to get your post count up

Lots of great moments tonight. For me it was the moment a kid stood up and took a figurative and literal step forward tonight. Young Cleary, came striding through at pull pace to gather a very difficult contested ground ball, and then take the game on and has opened a new vista on his capabilities. He clearly made a decision not to just bang it or look for the safe option, but he backed his pace and and run to deliver beautifully, leading to a chain of possessions and a goal to West.
Not THE moment of the game, but a BIG moment in Luke Cleary's potential career arc.

Lobb being moved forward at quarter time helped the team adjust to the conditions and go longer to the contest.

Changed the game and we slammed on 6 goals and then another 6 in 3rd quarter

Hard to go past the Lobb move forward for sure.

I'll pick the Harmes snap goal that was a ripper and I knew we were on.

Yes agree, not often we highlight a coaching move as the moment. But such a consistent team effort and everyone has a moment and didn’t let us down.

Looking forward - Naughton, Darcy and JUH. It will be the envy of everyone.

When we showed the Giants our utter contempt and rested Bont at 3/4 time. I loved the arrogance it showed, albeit it was clearly not for that purpose.
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

The GWS social media people are very funny. When that happened they Twitted " Thank you"

Toby Greene’s miss late in the 2nd. It was gold and we managed to score the last goal in the quarter giving us momentum into the 3rd

For me it was how we really took control after halftime, ramping up the pressure and dominating inside-50 entries. This overwhelmed the Giants, who struggled to keep their structure and intensity. Our boys capitalised on turnovers with clean ball movement and broke the game open in the third quarter. A massive win that really showed the Bulldogs' resilience and adaptability!

Harmes goal kicking was the difference in the game.

Great moment. I didn't realise until then just how much pace Cleary had.

                          Really liked his game.

I always thought he was kind of middle of the road as far as pace went but a couple weeks ago someone mentioned he recorded the highest top speed of anyone on the ground so I've had to reconsider that. Might just need a few strides to reach that top gear
