Austin was horrible. As BAD suggested earlier, his time on the list should be up.

Horrible? What on earth did he do to make you say that? I watched the game through live and thought he played well, certainly was more of a presence than Talia.

As for bests, Jong getting in there is strange. Not that he played poorly but I didn't think he was in our best dozen players.

As others have mentioned, Bontempelli and Stevens were the standouts. Smith still looks a tiny bit off the pace for mine and I would be inclined to give him another week in the VFL to remove a couple of errors in tight present at the moment.

Watched it again last night and I thought he got easily beaten and outmuscled a few times by Lee and Dunnell ( I think it was) It may only be one kick, but the out of bounds on the full, under no pressure, by around ten meters. Shoulders drooped and his general demeanor during moments didn't strike me as a senior player (senior in terms of age and experience in our side).

Looking at the stats, yes Bonts did all the flashy things which was great to see. But the 9 tackles next to his name is just as pleasing.

Campbell also laid 11 Tackles which is a great effort.

working my way through the recording now. Bonts so clean and sharp. An absolute cut above the rest. By the time his opponents realised he was there he'd already disposed of the ball and disposed of it well. Exciting to see a guy come in and look that good.

Clay in everything. Grant looking like he is actually working hard and certainly seems to get out on his own easily in this game. Cordy so the almost man - gets to the right spots on the lead, they look for him and then he spills the mark or doesn't contest like a strong forward (and thus misses the mark). Campbell been good rucking round the ground but forward play not too special so far. (I'm up to half time).
